Organizing Clutter

Are you endlessly searching for your car keys, your shoes, that glass of water you had just a minute ago? Well if so, it’s time to organize. We waste more than two hours everyday because we need to organize and take control of our time. Author Joe Cirillo will show you how to organize your life and save time in his book It’s Your Time.

His fun and helpful book reveals a seven-step-method to organize your home and your office. Cirillo is a nationally recognized organizational and time management expert; he has been featured in Oprah’s O Magazine, Success Radio, Essence Magazine and many more.

“I was inspired to write It’s Your Time because of my interest in helping people,” says Cirillo. “I’ve always felt that if you have something that could benefit others, it should be shared.”

And share he has, he reveals ways to organize your home and office that are fun and easy. He breaks organization down into easily digested steps that are fun to do and leave you with a sense of accomplishment, so you are ready to tackle your next day’s tasks with new vigor.

“Never overload yourself,” says Cirillo. “The number one way to lose steam is by giving yourself an overzealous workload.”

Cirillo shows how easy it is to begin organizing clutter if you just start with the basics.

Here’s a tip from Cirillo’s Time Saving Tips Newsletter: To manage your time you have to organize your time. Organizing your time runs parallel to organizing the space around you. The tangible items you need must fit into the space where you live and work. A closet, a desk, a drawer, a refrigerator, an empty box – all have a limited amount of space. If you try to cram in more objects than can comfortably fit, you’ll end up either using only the things on top or in front, or wasting time pulling things out onto the counter or the floor and (maybe, if you take the time) cramming them back in again.

Take the time to clear the clutter in your life and create a holding place for the things you do need. It’s Your Time features a list of helper items that will “help” you organize your space, clear your clutter and take control of your time. Once you organize – it’s easy to keep up with the momentum you’ve created and you’ll find that much needed time to do the things you love.
